Tamil actor-director Raghava Lawrence is all set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with the remake of his hit horror-comedy film ‘Kanchana’ titled ‘Laaxmi Bomb’. But reportedly, he is making a lot of changes in the script as per the requirement for Bollywood audience. The Khiladi actor of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and the beautiful Kiara Advani has already begun shooting for the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Kanchana’ titled as ‘Laaxmi Bomb’. Now according to the latest reports, Lawrence is in talks with Amitabh Bachchan for the role of a transgender. Therefore it is being expected that Amitabh Bachchan might be seen in the role of a transgender woman in the Hindi remake.
Now the confirmed reports have already been the buzz of the town that Akshay Kumar portraying the role of Raghava (played by Raghava Lawrence in the original). By sharing the update of her first-day shoot Kiara revealed the name of the film that is ‘Laaxmi Bomb’.
The most surprising news about this movie is that Big B playing a transgender woman in the remake movie. In film ‘Kanchana’, Sarath Kumar played the role of a transgender woman as Kanchana. A source informed Deccan Chronicle that, “Amitabh Bachchan will be portraying the role of a trans-woman in the Bollywood remake of Raghava Lawrence’s Tamil horror comedy ‘Kanchana- Muni 2’. He will be reprising the role of Sarath Kumar, who played the critically acclaimed part in the Tamil version”.
However, confirmation about Amitabh Bachchan’s role in this film has not been made official yet. The Hindi remake of ‘Kanchana’ remains a much-anticipated film as Akshay Kumar is back to the horror-comedy genre.
